Dancer Alice R. gains contract with International Modelling Agency Models 1

Alice danced with Ballet First since age 4 and progressed throughout the School, enthralling audiences with her sensitive interpretation of many Classical Ballet variations. Now, she has been offered a contract with Models 1 – Europe’s largest Model agency. We continue to see Alice in classes at Ballet First in-between her photo shoots.

Ollie Grant successfully auditions for Central School of Ballet, London

Our male Danseur Ollie Grant, has gained a coveted place on the Prep Boys Associate Course at Central School of Ballet and taken for an immediate start Autumn 2016. Ollie trained with us for three and a half years, danced in all our Performances and continues with Ballet First midweek, whilst training 3 classes every Saturday at Central.

New Website September 2016

We are very pleased to now display our lovely new website, designed by a professional team (Unique Websites, based near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk) which gives new visitors the chance to see what Ballet First is all about, view dance images of our recent productions and lots of links to move around the site for information. We hope you like it!

Feedback from Show at the Rhodes Theatre July 2016

Our dance production this year was to a full house at the Rhodes Theatre – please click the 2016 Performance page to see the lovely dance images. We received excellent reviews and feedback and well done to all the dancers who performed and took part!

New Classes Added to Timetable Sept 2016

We are including another Ballet class to the timetable on Wednesdays, please click the Timetable link to view. Also a new Pilates class will be starting, please contact Theresa if anyone is interested in coming along for a taster session.

Ballet First Dancers Participating in London Classes

Some of our Pre-Senior and Senior Ballet students have been taking classes at the London Pineapple Dance studios over the summer holidays – an important part of dance training to widen dance knowledge and take class with other professional teachers. Well done for putting yourselves ‘out there’ and taking part!
