Performance 2013

Ballet First presented a mixed bill evening of dance, which included excerpts from Sleeping Beauty, incl. the Waltz of the Flowers superbly danced with the advanced members of Ballet First, complete with the signature flowered ‘hoops’ a challenge throughout the Corps de Ballet piece to dance competently whilst holding the hoops weaving in and out of each other; an admirably danced male variation by Lucas Crumb from the classic Giselle; Concerto abstract piece danced to music by the violinist Nigel Kennedy and variations from Sleeping Beauty, incl the Jewel Pas de Trois Act 3, Prologue variations and Aurora’s friends Pas de Quatre Act 1. The Nutcracker Suite excerpts were performed by the Primary Ballet young dancers, Junior and Intermediate students.

An enchanting evening of classical Ballet once again showing the accomplishment and technical assurance of Ballet First dancers.
