Performance 2015

In Sync

In our 2015 Performance at the Rhodes Arts Centre in Bishops Stortford, the Ballet First students surpassed themselves, dancing excerpts from the traditional classical ballet Coppelia including the Corps de Ballet ensemble piece Dance of the Hours, Prayer and Dawn solo variations and the lively Mazurka. Other dances included the Corps de Ballet dance of the Snowflakes from The Nutcracker, the Giselle pas de Cinq and the Spanish Dance from Swan Lake Act 3.

The younger students from the Primary and Junior ballet classes danced an enchanting version specially devised, of Frozen which had the audience enthralled.

Once again, this programme demonstrated the versatility of Ballet First dancers, their strength in performing Classical Ballet repertoire with technical excellence and clarity and their professional commitment of dancing a demanding and mixed programme, from dancers of all ages. Beautiful costumes set the scene, to a packed audience who left the show exhilarated. Well done to all!
